I am well aware that my animations are scarcely traditional. To an extent they resemble souped-up slideshows. I am also aware that I have veered away from my original aim in launching Illumination Gallery, which was to harness web animation for the purpose of combining text and imagery. I have not at all given up on this vision. Really, most of my animations are rooted in text. It is just that I have evolved as a digital artist. My recent Flash animations visually riff on ideas laid out in the introductions to those animations. I feel these animations contain some of my best imagery, so I decided to create a new section of Illumination Gallery where I can present these images.
