I have always been fascinated by the relationship between dreaming and artistic vision. My fascination extends beyond the mere imagery found in dreams to the actual process of dreaming and the manner in which dreams are shaped/tinged by popular culture. Dark Spiraling Dream is an illuminated text loop that attempts to explore this artistically. It is composed of 28 image/text still frames, which form a text loop (i.e., the 28th image/text links contextually back to the 1st).
