Wrap Poetry
While my initial inspiration for creating animated texts was William
Blake, upon exploring/developing the form what came to dominate my
focus was the workings of the human mind and its processing of visual &
verbal information/stimuli.
The animation running above is a wrap poem. I wrap imagery around a
marvelous poem by Jaey Peele. My artistic aim is to suggest the way
imagery wraps around language in our minds.
