Asia Argento fascinates me. Part of my fascination lies in the fact that she and Laurie Spiegel, the woman I have lived with for going on fifteen years now, share the same birthday: September 20th.
I initially posted the animation running above in the comments section of Asia Argento's MySpace profile page on September 20th. I call the animation A Birthday Card from Chicago because it is the first animation I made anywhere other than New York City. For two weeks I am visiting Chicago, Laurie Spiegel's hometown, thinking of Italy and Asia Argento. What is the common thread between Asia Argento and Laurie Spiegel? They are both entirely unique souls.
