Channeling Dürer

Albrecht Dürer saw Adam and Eve in a different light from present day artists. He developed a personal relationship to scripture, experiencing images from the bible with a vibrancy any modern artist must envy. Doubt clouds our visions, as inevitably it must in a media-saturated world. We live in the midst of massive information overload - of which the web, in all its glory, is the ultimate proof.

As a digital artist I struggle to rip myself free from the preponderance of information. Here this means channeling Dürer's Adam and Eve, letting its color composition and design distort in an electronic tapestry that transcends linear limits on the flow of stimuli.
