The White Goddess by Robert Graves had a profound impact on me. My trying to strike a balance between visual and verbal expression was in part inspired by Graves' take on the eternal feminine. There are some things that can only be said visually & other things that only words can reflect. I created the seven brief animations comprising Sacred Hag as a humble tribute to Robert Graves.
