This animation lasts just a tick over 14 seconds before looping. Rooted in a lovely music-themed image I found on Marco Guzman’s Facebook page, I consider the animation a visual epiphany, a burst of silence. The fact that the animation loops is a part of the meditative process at work here. As the animation turns in upon itself, silence manifests. Yet herein does digital silence = true silence or is it merely a symbolic representation?
